The Teacher The Society Needs.              For a very long time our society is criticizing the educational system, the way it has turned into an enterprise, the lack of originality in students and how they come out without any practical knowledge of what they laboured for years. And many are wondering why no changes or reformations have come. The meeting with Mr.Yogesh gave an answer to this.    The situations is not in need of complaints, already there is plenty and there is no point in waiting as the majority have realised. The condition demands actions-selfless actions, and that's what Mr. Yogesh and people like him are striving for. The interview with him ranks in our quality time list. Being a graduate in engineering he chose to leave the corporate company in chennai, where he had been working for a year due to the dissatisfaction it gave. His urge for contributing to the education of the students and the contradicting aspects of studying engineering and working as a

Mr. Saravanan being one of the founders of the 'Vaa Nanba Vaa' organisation has devoted his life for the betterment of Madurai. The non governmental organisation aims at creating a cleaner, and greener Madurai. It was started by a group of friends who were enlightened with the idea of making a difference in the surrounding by skipping their  cricket matches on sundays. Initially it began as a small group but as days went by many volunteers joined hands to achieve the purpose. Activities such as cleaning, painting walls to convey social messages, and afforestation are taken up by them. They have also worked on the cutting down of karuvelam trees, cleaning the banks of river vaigai, planting, and most importantly taking care of the planted saplings. Initially, they worked on their area of residence, and later chose different areas that needed their service. The People's Doctor             Mr. Ilayapari is a social worker in the field of health and medicine. He specialises in psychiatric counselling and serves the community through 'cure trust' which is a trust that helps people in need, both monetarily and medically. For the past 18 years, he has been rescuing people who are left injured on the roads and offers them first aid. He provides medical help without any fee.             He is an interesting man with an interesting qualification because, he is a doctor with a civil engineering degree. How interesting is that! I don't mean to throw a negative light on him nor do I say that he is fake. He is a recognised doctor and a psychiatrist and I say he is better than many doctors with an MBBS degree. He has been awarded ' The best doctor' award for saving more than 27,000 injured people on the road. But his qualification does not come from studying in a medical college, but through experience and observation.
